Original 1950s Coca-Cola Gold Lustre Shop Advertising Lamp
The lamp is all original in every way & has not been modified or altered,the shade had
two push down clips to the base which are very secure when in place,the shade is generally in
very good condition with the signs of age & use being mostly some random cockles,wear to the top rim
on the stitching but over all the velum is so thick and well constructed its very solid.
The gold lustre base is secured underneath with a chunk of marble and then screwed in place which
makes it hard to tell if its made from thick class or ceramic weighing on its own 1kg 418g,this again is very sold even with the hairline cracks each side of the base.These have never moved and look to have been there a long time partly due to the quality and thickness of the bottle,the base and the top light fitting i would say are brass plated steel & again
of thick quality,as for the wiring this is all original & untouched.The lamp switch runs very smoothly and has like
the rest of the lamp been well stored so has no rust,this will be double boxed and the shade will be separate from
the base then both put in a large box for safe transit & delivery on UPS overnight delivery.
