Standard MIDI Files - Type 0
1-trk_type0 - with all notes on one MIDI track, defaults to MIDI channel 10. Best for keyboard workstations, hardware sequencers, or notation programs that use Standard MIDI File Type 0 format.

2-trk_type0 - with 2 tracks of “drums” and “percussion”, defaults to MIDI channels 1 & 2 respectively. Best for keyboard workstations, hardware sequencers, or notation programs that use Standard MIDI File Type 0 format.

Standard MIDI Files - Type 1
sep-trk_type1 - with each note on a separate MIDI track, defaults to MIDI channel 10. Best for professional MIDI sequencing software or hardware sequencers with editing features to accommodate 50 or MORE MIDI tracks that use Standard MIDI File Type 1 format.

2-trk_type1 - with 2 tracks of “drums” and “percussion”, defaults to MIDI channel 10. Best for notation or “easy” MIDI sequencing software or hardware sequencers with editing features to accommodate LESS than 50 MIDI tracks that use Standard MIDI File Type 1 format.
